ReplyDeleteIt is possible we have met somewhere deep in our past, as (what feels like) many iifetimes ago, in High School, I used to accompany my dear friend, Sarah (Neff) Gammage to youth group events at Calvary. In any event, the Lord has kept you so close in my thoughts, in my prayers...and especially tonight while driving home, around 7:30...just really intensely felt that I should 'fight for you' in prayer, as I am sure the enemy would like nothing more than for you to sucumb to the whispers (or perhaps shouts!) of fear and doubt he so delights in dispensing. From following your blog, and from what I have heard from those who know you, truly you are an amazing woman. Even with the strength that our Father is supplying to you...through Himself, your friends, you family...I cannot imagine the spectrum of emotions you must face on a moment-to-moment basis. If we knew each other, I would just want to invite you into my home, wrap you in the softest cashmere blanket, serve you the silkiest, smoothest hot cocoa you've ever tasted (if that would taste good to you!), and just do whatever I possibly could to express Father's love toward you!!! I am praying so much for you....even though we have never met. I also think of/pray for your sweet children, and husband...what a privalge to have you as a mom and wife. I am quite certain He is making Himself very real to all of you in ways that many will never know.
Thank you for allowing your journey to be posted on this blog. Thank you for being a beautiful expression of following Christ through the deep, dark valleys of life...and please know that while you are an example, you are not up high on a lofty pedestal, but held near and dear in the hearts of those who are battling in prayer with you.Including me.
