Consult Today

This morning Amy is meeting with a surgeon at the LG's Health Campus for a consult. They will be setting up an appointment to remove part of the lymph node that she originally found under her arm.

Once again Amy said, "I just know God is going to use this."

Please feel free to post comments on this blog-Amy will be checking it!

  6. Amy, We love you and are waiting patiently for God's expected miracle in your life. He will save you! He will heal you my dear sister. You have been chosen to take this journey for your faithfulness. You will give God the glory and he knows that. Know that when you want to cry, we will cry with you, and when you want to rejoice, we will rejoice with you!!! You are not alone, because we have a Savior who loves us and does not abandon us, he will be right there holding your hand.

    Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshipped. And he said: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD." In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong. Job 1:20-22

  7. Dear Amy-
    I don't know you all that well, however, I was a teacher of your daughter's in Little Discovery Clubs. I was saddened to hear this news, but am encouraged through the peace and faith in God you are displaying. May you be strengthed by His unending love and faithfulness. May He give the doctors wisdom and the knowledge how to confront this head on. I will pray also for support from family and friends, that the Lord will be with them also as they stand by your side.

  9. Amy, you are so precious to us! It is hard to find words to tell you how beautifully you radiate Jesus and inspire those around you! Your greatest concern, to see God receive glory, is already being seen in this and has always been seen in your life. Thank you for choosing to embrace this experience full of faith and not allowing fear to rule your heart.
    Isaiah 12:2-6
    "Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and my salvation."..... Cry aloud and shout for joy... for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel."
    I love what I heard again recently;
    Don't tell God how big your problem is but tell your problem how big your God is!
    We are confident you will be experiencing our heavenly Father's presence and tender care,His wisdom, grace, strength, and healing. :) We love you lots and are standing with you & Ben in this journey. Mom & Dad Beachy

  10. Dear Amy,
    Why is it that when one is faced with difficulties or challenges their true spirit, their inner strength, steps to the forefront? The rough edges, the immaturity in our lives seems to step back, to hide in the shadows, and out comes who we really are. And so true I see it again, the inner you, the real you, coming face to face with real life, and emerging victorious. A soldier of the Lord. A daughter of the mighty King. And what I see is a woman clothed in loveliness, sitting in strength, waiting with patience for the future to unravel. And I stand in awe at the courage that pulses deep inside your being, that shows to your husband and children, and to the rest of us that nothing goes unseen by your God, and His plans for your are great. And full of love. And of care. For you are precious to Him. Far more than you know, or understand. And so in this time of heartache I see joy. I see strength and integrity. And I see a creature who has become more brilliant and beautiful than ever imagined. And I'm so glad I've been given the chance to witness it, right before my very eyes. You're an amazing woman, and I love that I can be a part of caring for you. For praying for you. And yes, I'd love to make a meal! :)

  13. Amy and family,

    I feel like I know you even though I don't think we've ever met. I work at HOPE so I know your name. The same day you have your surgery I will be at Hershey with my husband who is having a liver biopsy done. I know God is using these trials to show us more of Him. I will be praying for you on this journey. And remember my husband too.
